Experience Highlights
- Acting on behalf of wife in financial proceedings including distribution of a property portfolio. Husband had also transferred his company shares and had criminal proceedings issued against him by the company for fraud. Successfully argued “add back” for the value of the shares.
- Advising wife in respect of entitlement in divorce against business property and assets worth £6M.
- Advising senior professional in respect of divorce and financial proceedings against husband based in Turkey, involving foreign service of proceedings and protection of pre-marital wealth.
- Acting on behalf of husband, owner of a family accountancy practice to negotiate financial settlement and protection of pre-marital/family assets.
- Acting on behalf of husband, an airline pilot in respect of variation of maintenance application issued by former wife.
- Representing NHS consultants in respect of divorce and related financial proceedings and negotiated settlements.
- Advising wife in respect of a property claim in financial proceedings against property held in Spain, issued 20 years after divorce proceedings.
- Acting on behalf of wife to successfully pursue claim against property portfolio and complex structure of business assets held in husband’s sole name, including application for legal services order, and involved issues relating to husband’s capacity.
- Acting on behalf of a husband in a complex financial remedy matter which extended to a claim made in relation to Proprietary Estoppel. The divorce matter included advice relating to farm, land, family business with satelite litigation relating to the property claim and commercial litigation regarding the business and employment issues. The cases included complex legal issues relating to non-matrimonial assets and substantial personal and specialist assets requiring numerous expert and building surveyor reports.
