Partner and Managing Director
Claire is Managing Director of the practice and has over 20 years’ experience as a Family Lawyer. Claire has acted for clients in Hull and East Yorkshire for many years before expanding her practice area to include York, Leeds, Middlesbrough and clients nationally. She has worked at local, national and specialist firms which has enabled her to gain a real breadth of experience and commercial awareness. Combining strength and compassion to resolve cases swiftly and amicably, she is known for being sensible and pragmatic.
Whilst the emphasis is always on trying to resolve disputes using various means of dispute resolution to mitigate legal costs, she has considerable experience in dealing with Court proceedings which are handled with confidence to safeguard and protect the best interests of clients and their family.
Claire predominantly deals with complex high value cases acting for business owners, CEOs, landowners, farmers, entrepreneurs, and senior professionals. She also has considerable experience advising clients in relation to property disputes.
Claire has built up a network of professional trusted advisers over the years which means she is always able to put together the right team to achieve the best possible outcome, working alongside barristers, forensic accountants, mortgage, pension, and financial advisors.
Claire is a Fellow Chartered Legal Executive Litigator (Family Litigation).
